Your Choice of Pied a Tere for the week
History whispers through timeworn beams, heritage stone walls and townhouse grandeur - seamlessly paired with sleek, modern finishes that redefine luxury.
Each house has its own unique vibe, where custom lighting, intricate mouldings and bespoke furnishings invite you to relax in style.

Venue 1 Namaste Cottage
A traditional French Chambre D’Hote and home to our hosts, Olivier and Magali who have poured their creative hearts and souls into renovating this gloriously re-imagined property.
Retaining its period splendour, with bang up-to-date amenities -including a pristine and private salt-water swimming pool - set within the landscaped garden, outdoor bar and pétanque court- all ours exclusively for the whole retreat.
The attention to detail and style resonates throughout, with each ensuite room exuding chic design details, soft linens and quirky artefacts.
Olivier and Magali's love of travel is reflected in the breakfast room and lounge - fascinating nooks and crannies filled with books and curios- hold you in their creative space and get you into conversations about their amazing love of India (and don’t get Magali started about Scotland- her spiritual home and passion place- she’s even named their adorable house cat 'Syke' after her favourite Scottish Island!)
Venue 2 - Maison De La Paix - Peace House
As if one beautiful house isn’t enough, we have the exclusive run of Maison de La Paix
- Peace House - just a hop and step away from Namaste Cottage and steeped in the town’s architectural history. Enter Maison de la Paix’s doorway – hewn through the 13th-century, outer limestone wall of the town - into a cool, stone-floored haven of luxury.
This ancient but beautifully restored house with south-facing garden and terrace, is all about living the 'joie de vivre' of everything that makes life in rural France so special.
With original features and materials dating back to medieval times, the house was selected and featured as ‘The Mystery Property’ in the popular BBC documentary ‘Escape to the Continent’.
Maison de la Paix’s authentic period features have been meticulously woven into all the mod cons you’d expect as a discerning guest- and invite a comfortable and easy living space to chill and relax in.
Maison De La Paix is ideally placed for the culinary heart of our retreat, we’ll cook and revel in the day’s experiences under the canopy of Dordogne stars and twinkly candlelight.
