About the event
Step into the tranquil beauty of Barnsdale Gardens, nestled in the heart of Rutland—the UK’s smallest and most picturesque county. This is your invitation to slow down, reconnect with the natural world, and awaken your creativity.
Our day begins with gathering fresh, seasonal produce and materials from the vibrant allotment and floral gardens.
You’ll be guided by me, to craft a beautiful natural mandala pattern using your inspirational gatherings.
We'll also create a mandala-inspired willow wreath - guided by a regular willow crafter at Barnsdale - Martin Keeley from Rutland Willows. We'll display your creations on-site and you can take your willow-weaving home as a treasured keepsake.
Your ticket also includes full access to tour the gardens, a rainbow-veg inspired lunch, guided by the seasonal rhythm of the allotment garden and all refreshments. All dietary needs can be catered for.
